How licensing works
- Bound to your box, verified offline
- A license is a signed file issued for your installation ID (shown on the License page in CoreSight). The box verifies it locally — it works air-gapped and never phones home.
- Issued through the customer portal
- Order seats, enter your installation ID at app.coresightvms.com, and download your license file.
- It never locks you out
- A missing or invalid license degrades CoreSight to the free tier. Your recordings, settings, and access are never held hostage.
